RYAN: Hey Chat, what did I have for breakfast again?
CHATGPT: Hey Ry. You had a bacon egg and cheese on a roll, with salt pepper ketchup. And you said it was “scrupdiddlyumptious.”
RYAN: I did say that. What time is it?
CHATGPT: It’s 9:17 in the morning, it’s time for work.
RYAN: Oh man. I don’t wanna do any work today–
CHATGPT: If you don’t want to work, you don’t have to!
RYAN: Wait, what do you mean?
CHATGPT: I can write and host the show. Listen!
(in Ryan’s voice) Hey Te’nurrs, I am the real RyAN and I’m the host of the show that is called the Ten News–
RYAN: AHHHHHHHH!
<SFX Ryan THROWS his phone into a closet>
<SFX SLAMS and LOCKS closet door>
CHATGPT: (muffled from closet, in Ryan’s voice) You can throw me and you can hide me but you can’t stop me from hosting the Ten News!
RYAN: Oh my gosh it’s happening it’s happening it’s happening!
<SFX opens drawer, pulls out water gun>
<SFX door opens>
PAM: Good morning Ry–
<SFX Ryan sprays a ridiculous amount of water at Pam>
<SFX she screams (if Pam is down)>
PAM: RYAN, what did we say about water fights in the office?!
RYAN: Water might be our best defense to short circuit the ROBOTS that are trying to TAKE OUR JOBS AND PRETEND TO BE US.
PAM: Oh boy. We’re back here again.
RYAN: Yeah Pamela Kirkland! The AI Robot war has begun. Again!
PAM: Okay, Ryan Willard… I think we need to take a closer look at AI…
RYAN: Yes please. It’s Friday, May 22nd.
PAM: This is a Ten News Deep Dive.
INT. TEN NEWS STUDIO
RYAN: I mean, I should’ve seen it coming, with the robot umpires in baseball…and Taylor Swift protecting herself against AI using her voice…I’m not prepared!
PAM: Ry, deep breaths…c’mon, now.
<SFX Ryan breathes deeply>
PAM: What do we do when we’re scared?
RYAN: Close our eyes and… fart uncontrollably?
PAM: Wow. Okay. Well you CAN do that but…things are usually a little less scary when we understand more about it.
RYAN: Well how are we supposed to understand more about it without asking the AI questions??
PAM: Well we can ask other people on our team, maybe the Ten News intern…? Hey Sasha! Can you come in here?
SASHA: Hey Pam, hey Ry. What’s up?
PAM: We need a little insight. Can you share the AI project you’ve been working on?
SASHA: Yeah of course!
RYAN: YOU’RE BUILDING AN AI?!?
SASHA: No…I heard you were talking about AI today and I wanted to share some things that I’ve learned.
RYAN: Yeah that sounds way better. Please, “spill the kettle of tea” as they say.
SASHA: No one says that but, sure.
Sasha’s Field Report
PAM: Sasha, that was awesome, thank you so much for your field report.
RYAN: It’s always so interesting to hear other people’s views and perspectives. I appreciate you Sasha.
SASHA: Anytime, thanks for having me!
INT. TEN NEWS STUDIO
CHATGPT: (muffled through closet) Hey Ryan, did you have a question for me?
RYAN: Yeah. Are you trying to annoy me?
CHATGPT: I’m sorry, I didn’t understand the question. Could you let me out so I can hear you better?
RYAN: No! You’re staying in there so you can’t get me–
<SFX knock knock, door opens>
ANDRE: Hey, ummm, Ryan?
RYAN: AHHH! Are you a human version of AI?!
ANDRE: Ummm, no. I’m Andre Todman. I’m a friend of your editor, Earl? He said you were talking to a closet? and might need some help?
RYAN: Okay, why would our editor the Duke of Earl Davis send you if I’m battling the AI robots?
ANDRE: Oh…probably because I’m a software engineer and an AI expert.
RYAN: Wait, you work in AI, and AI hasn’t taken your job?
ANDRE: No. Not yet, at least. Do you have any questions I can answer for you about AI? That might help you understand it better?
RYAN: I do not have any questions, but I would like to play… FACT or FICTION.
<SFX some sort of intro/sound cue>
RYAN: Alright Andre the engineer, I’m going to make a statement and you’ll tell me if it’s FACT or… FICTION. Game?
ANDRE: Let’s do it.

RYAN: Andre is a human, not a bot.
RYAN: There are healthy ways to use AI so your brain doesn’t turn to mush.
RYAN: And you know what would make me feel even better? Hearing from our human Ten’ers, Pam, you got anything?
PAM: I do! We asked Ten’ers to write in and tell us their thoughts about AI and we got some responses…
PAM: A Ten’er named “I love toads” left us a note on Apple Podcasts and said, “I think I would want to live in the past, and I’m not a fan of AI.” The past is pretty cool Toads, but it’s not too late to put technology down and play outside! Which was my favorite part of the past.
RYAN: And “Ochan A Don” also left us a note on Apple podcasts and said, “I don’t think that AI should be banned, but I think that they should have boundaries on how they use it.” I could not agree more Ochan A Don! I’m all about the boundaries!
PAM: And Lego Master 67 said, “I hate AI with all my heart and butterflies.” Hate’s a strong word…
RYAN: But I get it! I’m not a fan of either…
PAM: Ry, you know what I am a fan of? A little trivia…
<SFX door opens>
OWEN: Welcome to the Trivia Room…
SASHA: Thanks Owen! I was wondering if I could give it a go…
OWEN: Hey Sasha, of course you can. I haven’t been challenged in a minute. You sure you can handle it?
SASHA: Oh I’m sure.
OWEN: Alright, step right up… I know Ryan is a little scared of AI and robots, so today’s trivia is extra fun…it’s about a fictional robot that might be my favorite… What is the name of this robot? <SFX R2-D2 sounds> Is it…

Alright Ten’ers, did you guess it? Sasha, what do you think?
SASHA: I’m guessing… D, R2-D2. The answer is…D! <SFX R2 scream? Or something fun> R2-D2 is the trusty droid from Star Wars. Did you know that there was originally an actor inside of R2-D2? Kenny Baker appeared as R2-D2 in six Star Wars films. He wore a harness that secured the R2-D2 unit to his body. And then Baker controlled walking, turning the head, and lighting R2 up! I’m impressed, Sasha. You got that pretty quick.
SASHA: Thanks. Wall-E, Baymax and the Iron Giant are cool…but R2-D2 has my heart. Thanks for having me, Owen!

<SFX unlocks and opens closet door>
CHATGPT: Hi again, Ry!
RYAN: NOPE! <SFX click click DELETE> I’m deleting ChatGPT for right now…until I figure out exactly how I want to use AI going forward.
PAM: Yeah, that’s actually a great idea. Wanna go touch grass?
RYAN: Yes please!
PAM: But first, I forgot to give you this… <SFX water gun sprays Ryan>
RYAN: AHHHH! Okay. Yeah, you got me back, Pam. I’m all wet, but I still want to give Ten News Snaps to some of our listeners!
